Benjamin Verdin (16480km): This morning I was a bit pissed off because i didn't had the time to go to a descent speed spot. The choice was: staying home or give it a try on the local fishing pond (almost in my backyard). Now I am happy that i have choosen the later. Because the wind was really gusty and shifting all the time (because of the houses, trees,...) I took my big set: Falcon 113 + Racing Blade 7.8 What a great feeling flying over the choppy water of a small choppy lake just around the corner. This morning when I left home i was figuring out what speeds should be possible. Before I did my first run, my goal was to go 50+. Never thought that i would do 60+ in these conditions. The sails is just fantastic. Even in the heavy gusts (I measured 37 kts !!) the sails was still under control !! In those gusts I could easily use a 5.6 !! Very happy with the results. Only a bit slower then last week with the same sailsize, but then i was on a 85L board in completely flat water and a nice angle. Today it was chop-flying from the beginning till the end. Some runs I did without harness lines, because the chop freaked me out at some parts. Last week I was the first of the world day ranking, today probably the last, but happy with my performance today !! It's also my first GPS session on Belgian waters...
B52 (19408km): First i took the 51, after a while it was time for the 45. I wanted to test the Proto 22 and 24 GPS 5.  The fin was super ,  new shape is perfect. Easy on the run and in the chop. The whole day i sailed whit the Warp 5,7 never to big, super to control.   Aldo it was hard in the gusts <img alt=
Tom De Pauw (20674km): Water was cold, wind was hard en gusts were heavy. Shame I took the 5.1, big mistake, sail was to small to slingshot and gain speed. Should have taken the 5.5 instead ! But i won't complain, had a nice funny day with the buddies.
