Windy at home, windy on the Ocean on the way around.... Glassssss at Melville!!!

Rigged in anticipation and in true winter fashion played chase the gust.

The squiggles tell the story of the highs (woohooing across the river) followed by the lows (tacking at sub walking speed back to the car park)

Rain, sun, complete glass off and occasional white caps.Undecided

track

PB mile on this combo in one nice squall all the way to Peli paid for it with 40 mins of tacking!

Recycle was rigging formula gear as I left and a few of the SouthSiders thinking about it.

I am off on an Intervention for a weekEmbarassed

Pinnaroo Point, 115L/7m... Very, choppy today...

A long struggle Yellthen a rain cloud Laughing, then more struggle Yell another rain cloud Laughing got overly optimistic this time around, and the wind died while I was out there. Lucky it picked up again. Enough to get back, then picked up again, but just couldn't trust it any more.

While it was going , it felt much faster than 20 knts, but, maybe it's just the board. Who cares. It was fun !!!!.LaughingLaughingLaughing

Pelican Point, WA, m Equipe, CR8.8m

Wow, that's what I call a Melbourne sail, from maxed out to near glass off all in less than one hour. Can't believe I'm going to get a jelly bean from this kit. Surprised

Pelican Point, WA, AU

got dwon to peli and it was5 knots but saw a massive cloud coming. Riged up and hit the water. Super fluky at peli so sailed out to middle and was a solid 18knots. Unfortuntly my outhual broke so i had to sail in with massive back hand pressure, quickly fixed it up and then went back out. i made it across the river and back and then it was gone as quick as it came in.

First sesion in over a month so good to get wet

Melville Beach, WA

Excellent unexpected fun session on the big girl. The wind was suprisingly steady in the long gusts.

A few drags with Norts and Slowy for extra excitement.

Borrowed one of Chris's new carbon fins and immediately got more than a knot increase in peak for this board.

The fin has heaps of power yet doesn't drive the nose into the water. Riding the fin is a joy, super forgiving - got four 26 knot plus NMs. Normally I find one hard work on this board. As Norts says - the fin is magic.

Nice nautical mile Alistair! Good to see you got on the water at last. Pity about the outhaul problem.

Yes, JJ has a pink and white GPS sail.

Oh Patrick. Sorry to hear you lost your bean. I'm sure your wife will be less transient.

Another boost up the ladder. Pinnaroos as top WA team for the month now. Well done team!
