Really hard sail today, choppy, loved the Manta 59 - thanks Kev, its awesome seems like a lot of volume in the middle of the board, carves really nicely.

It may feel like winter, but it is supposed to be summer!  Having said that it turned out to be a good day to go sailing. Wind filled in nicely and although it was not a good direction for speed it was a good direction for doing some longer runs out into the harbour.  Managed to get an hour in with only a couple of fallins..so best hour and nautical mile scores for this year.  Very happy with that, and also with the new to me 2008 6m Gaastra GTX!  That's it for a while..kayak and fishing time!

Quick session after spending the day preparing the back of the van for its transformation this week.

New hot sails gps 7.3 with bigger of my exocet RS boards and 35 fin went well together, some good runs in WNW chop

Morning session was really nice, great angle of about 275-285 and wind gusting about 35knots on the lake. High tide seemed to kill the wind and it never realy came back and it went too broad anyway.

Still pleased I went and good to get the new sail wet though a lot of tuning needed.

Scotty..another PB, this time for a Nm!

Not at all easy to keep the hammer down today through the increasing chop. You are sure on a roll..well done!

Cheers Norm, I should of been on the water at 4am in broad daylight, that would of been cool...great speed day for late June.
