Wellington Point, QLD, AU

Rubbish day for me, more time spent sailing under the water than planing.  Should've taken the big board.

First sail in nearly 4 months (great to be back on the water even if it was gusty crap) and first sail on Loft 7m- very different.

A bit patchy but still some nice runs on the JP. Probably could of done better on the speed board but didnt have room in the car.

Wellington Point, QLD, AU, Falcon 104, Aerotec 7.5, 40 cm fin. A bit auquard comination. Would have done better with a seven and a smaller fin. The wind always seemed to be against you, south easterly, when you were out and more to the south, when you were in. I could not do any down wind runs till in the end, when I went over the reef and then I could not get back and hit the fin on the reef (at low speed). It was good to get out though and forget about all the aches that are pestering me in this cold weather. Yes the cold water and rush of blood seemed to cure them for a while at least.

Thanks for downloading the map Glynn. I never get to look at  that. Nice for me to run through a boat for a change  as usually it is the other way round.  Just goes to show how much the broadwater is filling up with sand. Soon wont be able to sail anywhere.

Hi Peter, hopefully nothing wrong with my GPS - not sure how to check but just hope KA 72 filters out the crap!!!!
