Decrepit (55501km):  6 categories       Another visit to Boombas, tide about right, but wind a bit iffy to start with, abandoned the hr attempt when I had a 3km slog back from the other side. By the time the wind filled in it had got too choppy for me to hang on for an hr. The prolific weed banks didn't help, I managed to avoid catapults by playing it very safe. But others made some big holes in the water. Watching slowy jump over them was a revelation, but even he came to grief when after the 3rd jump in a row he landed in the middle of a big bank. I started out with the 5.8 on the 53 but changed down to the 48 when it picked up. Nice to catch up with Lao Shi, JJ, Fudge, Crasher, Slowy, Matt Langer Elmo and Bugs. | ||||||||||||||||||

WaaaaaHooooooo finally a redemption sail Still got the dreaded Lurgi decided to try and freeze it out, fark that waters cold First runs were on the smaller weedy but it had a tendency to go sideways a bit over the chop so changed to the chopbuster with instant results getting peak speed on the first run, not all beer and skittles though as I finished the run doing 35knots sideways for a fair bit. Was great watching the boys doing their runs. Cold got to us in the end, got out of the wettie at the end and felt warm in the breeze, the heater was great in the car. nice hot shower next.
