Pitt Water Causeway, TAS, AU

Steve and I got crunchedYell ended up with with two files. and compleatly stuffed and lucky to get back in safe..

Kinda over this place today...

5.5 Mauisail TR9 Exocet speed and MXR 20 all nice but just super over powered and arm's just exploded holding the rig.

Some days are beyond speedsailing and the wind is just to angryLaughing

Pitt Water Causeway, TAS, AU. Isonic 86, C3 Venom 32 and R3 5.6

Early morning sail with Russ. Way too windy to sail on the causeway. Made a bad call, we should have gone to the chicken factory causeway.

Dorans, TAS, AU

5.1 Reflex 3  IS 86slim  28 Venom

Very happy with that little session. CoolThere was some big gusts going through which made some hair raising down wind blasters. SurprisedI was able to get the cams on easily on the Reflex today, finally worked it outSmile

Stanley, TAS, AU     Light wind, high tide, noodling about in the southern side of the West Inlet, just to check the place out.

Wrong direction  ...  maybe another day.

Dorans, TAS, AU Nice sail at Dorans, a bit potchy but it was warm for a change. Started with Hot sails 6.0 and JP 59 and as the wind died down I changed to Hot sails 7.3 "first outing"and JP 68. The sails are excellent, lite ,stable and powerfull.

Howrah to Sandy Bay river crossings. Totally insane windsurf! Sailed in the windiest bit of the day (8.30 to 11am) Hobart was reading 100kmh a bit while I was out in the middle of the river! The wind chop was pretty much head high in the middle with total white out sprey which was impossible to look at! Was so hard to open any kind of speed out of the board because I was just getting so airborne everywhere! Had some pretty big stacks. SO much fun. Used my trusty old Exocet Cross 84 with a Ka Kaos 4.0 wave sail! When I got back to my car is was covered in foam bubbles from the churned water even though it was parked a good 50 metres away from the beach!
