Deb had the car today,  so I sailed out the back at Paradise beach. Crazy windy,  must have been gusting over 30. Very short runs and very tiring!

Narrabeen Lake, NSW, AU

WOW, first real sail and post in a long long time. Didnt want to play with the big boys at botany today due to match fitness so tried the south side of the lake. I can see the potential in a nnw but its very very shallow. It quickly went nw and then wnw. Totally blown of the water in the end. 10 kts to 35 kts. At one point it was so choppy and strong,  i had no control so i hit the eject button. Rig ended up some 50 metres down the lake.  But hey, its still good to be back.

Keef,  

I hit a rusty steel post boat mooring that's 4 inches below the surface -  nothing to do with abrasive weed. It took chunks out of the fin. It just needed some Knead-it, an hour to cure,  sanding and back out on the water.
