Finally got it.... Only got 4 runs in before the wind died to nothing but glad I went down. First time I used the 5.1 but it has paid off. I would like to thank everyone who has given me tips along the way. 50 knots next ;)

Quick sesh along the Bank very busy with kites.
Real tricky getting on the run coming over some nasty chop right on the bear away but lucky no crashes :-)
Was almost going to go for one more run then it just switched off too nothing.
Happy to see 41 on the dial but wanted more

4041 days ago Lake Cootharaba, QLD, AU. Marathon day at the lake for Phil & I, wind was crappy, gusty NW 0-18kts for first couple of hours, finally swung to N/NE 15-22kts from 2pm on till we gave up because our hands were hurting to much. 7.3 switchblade on JP130,1st half of day,111carve later half. Great to sail with Phil even though we hardly saw each other, its a big lake

4041 days ago Camping up at the lake but the wind was all over the place when I went out. First run found myself standing in the mud in the middle of the lake with no wind and a long, long way from shore. Forgot just how big this lake is. Luckily though the wind picked up enough to have some runs on the 7m and later picked up to have some fully powered runs with the JP/6.3.
Well done Peter on the 2 PB's. I know just how hard it was out there today. Dont know how you hung onto that 7.3 later in the day.
Amazing session at Wello guys. Great work Richard and well done Glynn and Vando on making the hat trick for above 40 knots.
Very tired and was planning an early night but a big storm has just hit so had to escape to the safety of the pub. Hope my tent is still standing
