Chris K (343km): Yarralumla, ACT, AU - Great to finally get out on the water again. Have to admit that CBR finally blew hard enough for me to surrender on the 6.7. 20 or so guys out. Nothing like a bit of wind to bring all the VW transporters out of hiding. The fastest runs were on the Falcon113. I tried the Patrik87, and although it was extremely comfortable and stable to sail when the wind got up, there are just too many holes, so I spent the time between aircraft captain and submarine captain. It really needs a speed strip. 6.7NP RS6, Falcon113/Patrik87 Talon34
Mehore (24127km): Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU West 0/15 then turned off shore southerly 35+knts. Mission to get home. Sailed with Greg and Byron. Wrapped up and saw the boys at Canton on the way home. Johnny, Feebz and James were smokin! Tried out my new 6.6 today, 5cm under on my down haul and to much. Try less again next time. 92 jp slalom 18 MUF Slalom. Go Marauders!! Tomoz should be good on the central coast all the way to Coffs. Good luck at Harry's Boys!
. (49698km): Canton Beach, NSW, AU,,, ill be changing my name on gpstc to please myself, for now, im chosing names of great fighters that are champions to me
Wayno (16997km): Canton Beach, NSW, AU - 2nd session after the change down to the 6.5 V8 NP + JP 114L + 31cm JP weedie. A bit more manageable with the smaller sail. SW-SSW 15-25 knots - a sweet time. Sailed with Shane and one other I did not know. The other lads were at Peel St. Had a few good runs and a few that were off the plane, still a good session overall. Jamie and a few others came when the S'ly hit. I was about 500m out from shore when it came through. Bloody hell!! Could not keep the board on the water. Did try a few time to sail back in but the 35-40 knot gusts persuaded me it was better to just walk it back to shore. The others boys out did the same but had a bigger walk. What a day! Cheers Marauders. |
