Got on water at about 11.00 am with Rob, and Sue from the Lake Macquarie Team. Good to meet up again! Bill and Anton were out there today as well.Wind was all over the place. Gusty and shifty SSW - Sth. and -SSE at times 15-18k gusting up later to about 25.
Had two sessions with 5.5 Vapor SL79 Vector 27 then on the Hawk 93 and finworks 11.5.Lots a weed and pretty shallow out on the weed bank made it a bit frustrating, so went back for a break and change of gear. Too choppy for much speed today unfortunately.

Was down at the lake first for a change and waited till Gabe, Rob and Sue arrived. I was hanging to get some runs as the wind startd to increase in the gusts. Rob, Gabe, Sue and I charged out to meet Anton & Bill. Managed to sail into a dry patch and tore my harness line clean in two. My head hit the sand hard enough to result in a nice little grazed lump on my hollow noggin and my X9 monocoque boom now being not so stiff. Fun times. Thanks Gabe for your enthusiasm!! Hard day sailing it was so choppy!
Tried a few boards and fins will be nice to see what they do is flat water! good to see everyone out sailed with Mick,Johnny ,Old Pete ,Pugs ,Hugh and Bruce to name a few. Loft 7.3m switch blade and 117l and 100L Carbon Art and JP36&31 Weedys.

Canton Beach, NSW, AU Super windy super bumpy and gave it everything for some speed, felt like i was doing 40 knts. Still good fun. Heaps of dudes out for a week day. Pugs, Johnny,Matty D, Feebz,Pete, Hugh, Jason, Andrew, Rexi, Larko, Bruce, Tibor, Ray, Greedy and Billy boy. Just about got my 6.6 Koncept sorted. Thinks we're going to see good numbers from the Boys at Harry's!! 6.6 Koncept 92 Jp Slalom 31 jp weedy then 26 finworks. Go Marauders!!!

Manning Point, New South Wales, AU Sailed with Mark J, Steve, Adam, Byron and Greg.
Had a great fun day of sailing. Tide was a bit high when we arrived so waited a while and as we did the wind slowly filled in.
Evaryone had some great runs. A big thanks to Mark for taking us down and brining the boat so we didnt have to climb down the wall.
Jp speed 49, HSM 6.6, C# slingshot 23cm - Also tried a casper 26cm. Nice fin Thx for the lend Mark, it gave the board a bit more lift,

Great day with the guys at Harrington. First proper go on a speed run,awesome fun. Learnt heaps but stayed on the gear i was comfortable with. Need to use smaller board and fin next time
Used F2 sx small 91 litres, Hot sails maui 6.0m Gps, flying objects 28cm.
Wind was very south, so was sailing more across the wind rather than speed sailing downwind. Regardless, was heaps of fun. First sail of the 2014 KA Race - Looks stunning, rigged easily and felt really nice all day....made a few adjustments along the way for stretching - very happy with the combo today..
The wind kicked in and most guys broke out the speeders. I got enthused so decided to break mine out, but after 4 hours on the water and no lunch, i started to really cramp up and only got one run on it so I came in and packed up. - The little board feels nice - need to do some set up work with straps and so forth so she is ready to roll next time
Awesome day on the water - sailed with Mark.J, Dion, Steve, Greg and Byron...everybody sailing so well today - Yieeeew!!!!
