Lake Illawarra, NSW, AU S to SE up to 20 knots - mostly consistent all day

Today was distance day with Ben. We started off early on the formula boards and big sails and managed to do a lap of the lake before the wind cranked in. Got smashed a bit on the downwind home - a bit too much wind for the 12m!

Swapped over to the iS110 for about an hour or so and then over to the iS90 for the rest of the day. Certainly starting to get into the groove with the 90. The weed fin was great, although gybing in the chop required a pretty wide arc to stop spinout.

A good turnout of Speedsters. Choppy in the lake and a bit of flat water over the weed flats.

A bit sore now, but happy - mission accomplished

Went out with bushfire looking to do a bit of a marathon. Started early with the 12s on the formla boards around 9:30 and did a tour of the lake, then swapped over to shortboards, joined by a good group of others coming and going. A few changes of sails and lunch breaks, then finished up at round 6:30pm.

Body feels quite worked, but a good day.
