NE 20-25knts huge holes, very gusty and very bumpy.

IS94 - 5.3 Loft Oxy - 36 C3 Venom

Started out with few runs with Mike on bigger gear - JPSS127 amd 7.3 Loft 02 was quikly overpowered - So I changed dowm to the above.

I was serverly under done with the 5.3 and never had a comfortable run, on and of the plane like a yo-yo. Very frustrating so I gave it away early.

tough conditions for me today. 30 knots and chop don't go too well with my scrawny body. Not a fun time when it's survival sailing. It was almost dead north so no flat water at all. Everyone's best speeds seemed to be following the swell lines on the way back to the beach. Big Kudos to Mike T, Andrew Rogan and Seano for holding down their sail sizes they were using for as long as they did.

I need to eat a pizza or 10 and fatten up!

JP 59, 28 weedspeed, 5.5 MK IV slalom.

Went out at 1 pm on 5.5 - should have waited tanother 2 hours for the wind to build a bit more- first couple hours were patchy.

Too tired to improve anythin when the wind finally picked up around 5. Managed to find a gust to take me to the end of the runway for a NM

Kyeemagh 20-25 NNE, gusts around 30

Starboard Futura 121, Loft Switchblade 7.3, 40cm Talon

iSonic 90, Loft Switchblade 6.3, 32cm Goldwing

I met Dave down there early for a bit of a chat, but the wind came in early and we were on the water by 11 on the big gear. After about 30 mins, it was obvious we needed to change down to smaller gear. Lots of north in the wind, lots of holes, and strong gusts made for tiring sailing and choppy water. Not a bad way to end the holidays though Smile

Kyeemagh, NSW, AU. Wind 23-33knts NE to NNE

Used the NP RSS 6.7m the whole time and mainly the JP Slalom Racing 66 with JP 36cm fin but did grab the little Falcon 89L for a bit until I got too frustrated sinking in all the holes.  Quickest speeds were on the JP.

Fun sail with lots of familiar faces!

Bumpy Stuff man, started the day with the concept of a blast across to Kurnell,  1/3 of the wat over pulled out a foot strap, headed back. walking back to car tore sail panel.

Complete gear change and back into it, lucky change as it was a better combo.

JP SS 100, NP Hellcat 5.7 C3 34/Mean lines 32

Mike, well done on getting ton in the old scale-  100 miles in those conditions was hard work - enjoy the cold beer you've earned it.

BTW typo on your board first combo.Wink
