How wrong can a forecast be. Bloody strong from 1:30 or so then backed off a bit. big confused chop but a short bit of flat water on Parkway side allowed for some quick short bear offs. Bit hairy with the One Design fleet going upwind through the middle of the run. Heaps of guys out, was nice on the water. Hot, sunny and windy.

It was a very gusty day today. Good fun over at Kurnell until I snapped a harness line. Had to sail my 8.5m about 2kms with no harness - tiring! I organised a jet-ski to follow me out to a guy with broken gear about 800m off shore.

N/E felt like a Westerly, up and down like a yoyo. Some of the gusts were definately fully powered, but hit-and miss down the run-way! 

Some great gybes and some big misses!

Frustrated trying to chase Remi, damn he is fast! Good to see so many people out today!

Another crap evening! Got there too late and as soon as I got out there it backed right off. So badly that I thought I would have to do the walk of shame! Packed up and got home just as it got dark and it was honking in Newport.......
