Area 45, Mahers Landing, VIC, AU

The easterly kicked in early. Willy stated low tide at the pier as 12pm where low tide at 45 was closer to 2;30pm

The board and sail combo was perfect for the conditions - almost having second thought on selling the board (http://www.seabreeze.com.au/Classifieds/Windsurfing-Boards/~a_8xi/2013-Carbon-Art-Slalom-53-245-cm-87-litres.aspx?search=iVVAl2umBXmHLC7VP1FIeA==)

Carbon Art 53, 6.6 Koncept, 34 Venom

Some nice flat water on the bank at 45, but couldn't quite beat the PB from a couple of days ago. Should have had a go up the other channel, someone else was get 44's over there on the same sail as me (KA Koncept 6.6m). Oh well, maybe tomorrow!

My GPS said 30.07 knots! Darn, missed it by that much.

ISonic 86 with NP Saber 5.7. Became way overpowered later on as the wind got gustier and stronger.  Then it all got a bit crazy.

LOCATION:  AREA 45

WIND: E- 15-25 KNOTS

OUTGOING TIDE

GEAR:  CA FR 77, C3 VENOM 40, KA Koyote 6.6 (2014)

DETAILS:  Arvo session with Daz, Wendles, Tim, and Rob with Ern, Postie Pete and Kato joing us later.

Didnt look that windy at home so I chucked in the big board only.  That was a mistake!.

Fully powered up on the 6.6 but the FR 77 was a bit of a handful in the cross chop.  I really needed the 63!

Got some nice runs in on the bank before the tide turned and it chopped up.

Had a big crash and smacked my wrist into the board.  I couldn't grip the boom so I sailed in on the harness and it was game over for me!.  I must have smacked the gps or something because some of the data was a bit screwy..(eg no NM/ Alpha data)

Wind came up even more as I was derigging....and as Postie Pete says "theres always tomorrow!"

im not sure what your going to replace it with but take in mind those boards are built to last , unlike a few production boards on the marketWink
