Melville Beach, WA, AU

Good session at Melville. Lots of gybing due to low tides making it impossible to clear the sand bank.

Using a isonic 86L and Severne Overdrive 6.7m

Never thought I'd get a 31 display on the ocean on a 82cm wide board. The NM is also a PB on this board, bonus that it was flying over the swells and not on flat water.

The Mistral 137 and CL 38 combo is just magic, I reckon Slowy has really nailed it. Cool

Fun sailing with Jeff, Norts, Slowy, Matty and Spotty.

Mistral 137, GPS 7.3, CL SL2 38

Leighton Beach, 7.3 Sonic 121, nice to get some steady cruisy wind. very comfortable. last time I sailed at Leightons I snapped my one piece rotho cup mast where the boom rope had cracked it. so yes, a long time ago. dont know why I hadnt been back Cool

A good fun session back at the usual office.

Tide was low enough to make it worth sailing south of the groyne.

Lovely afternoon of consistent light winds.

Really enjoyable on Xfire 114, Turbo 7.5 and 40 weedy

Pelican Point, WA, AU

Short sesh after work at Peli.

Wanted to try my new Reflex 5 10.7, so I went the formula combo despite there clearly being enough wind for a slalom set up.

F162 + 10.7 R5 + 70 Drake.

Sail rigged sweet on my second hand 550 Redline.

Breeze filled in while I was rigging, prolly 18-20K there for a while, which tested the top end of the big rig, but the R5 was super stable in the gusts.

Tacked up to Wallyworld.  Getting up there was no problem, but she was a lively ride back downwind Laughing

Stoked to get out after a pretty hectic week at work and really happy with the new sail. Cool

Great stuff Jon - 28NM over the chop on the big board - nice top speed too. Must have been a good workout.

Well done Alistair and Sam - good to see the PBs up there. Go for the 20!
