The best Southerly in a long time. 25-28kts all day. 6.2RSR, 56 wide custom slalom board (Chester), 28cm custom slalom fin, 20cm custom weed fin.
Lots of people at the ramp today. It was good to see that many sails on the water.
Spent most of the day sailing all around Sanctuary point, managed a 36kt and a heap of 35kt runs in the chop which I was really happy with. Headed for the weed bank which wasn't really working but managed 2 faster runs on lucky gusts. The nautical mile run across the front of Sanctuary point was awesome today too. The angle of the chop made it perfect for bearing away.

Surprised at a 36 on the dial - I didn't think it felt that quick as the sail didn't feel really powered up.

Late session on the water just after 4pm, almost didn't happen. Better late than never! Breeze was just backing off but chop was still pretty hectic.
SV R4 6.2, Futura 101, FO 34 weedy.
Terry, I'm leaving on the Monday the 10th and returning Sunday the 16th. Not sure on leaving time yet as I'm coming off night shift that day. It will depend on if I have a co-pilot and how I feel on the day. Cant wait!
