Went to sleep with a howling westerly, woke up with it not quite howling but still promising. Drove to Cockys but too much water to get to the point so drove round to the Spit and settled there.
Started on Koncept 5.8 and Naish SP60.....no good. Came in and plugged in the Falcon 89...better and closer but still no cigar.....Rigged the 6.7 RSR and BINGO! sweet spot!!!! Purposely wanted to go for an hour and am really happy with what I got. Checked the GPS and saw I had close to a pb distance too so headed back out in a dying breeze just to make sure. Still not flat but a superbly consistent wind just made for magic conditions. Great that the Illawarra boys turned up today also along with Dot and Mike from WA and Glynn from QLD. Awesome to see around a dozen of us out on the lake.
I could go home happy now but it will sweet to also grab a 2 sec PB if we get the right wind.

Great day on the water but underpowered most of the time. Wind looked stronger than it was and struggled to get back upwind after going down to the islands for some flat water. Changed up boards which was much better but couldnt buy a gust today. A bit disappointed with figures, thought I sailed heaps more than that. Had some nice gybes but never was powered enough to get back to make them count.
Oh well, always tomorrow. Caught up with heaps of guys and met heaps of new faces to put names too. Its a beautiful place but a bugger of a drive round to where we sailed. Talk about the Leyland brothers.
Falcon 99, Falcon 112, Evo IV 7.0, 24 & 25 weedies.

Slowly fading breeze today. Not the flattest water and the wind was quite incosistent, but still a fun day

TRX 7.0 / JP slalom 59 wide / 28 weedspeed .
Flakey westerly breeze on the lake today - picked up to a good 15 knots for a while but tapered off in the afternoon. Pickedup again after 4 pm when everyone left.
best speed odne on bear away down behind the big island. was really flat but very shallow thru there. also took a lot to sail back up wind out of that area.

TRX 7.7 is an awesome sail! RS2 Excocet 91L and 35cm select fin.
Great session chasing a few guys with the camera on my head, with special thanks to Arthur for chasing me while wearing the camera. He loves the new RS2 he just got!.

JP SuperX, Maui 6.5 (needed bigger but repairing batten in 7.0), 36 special fin.
As Alfaman said it was all over the place, patchy gusty, flat then chop from 3 directions.
But, sunny & warm and we were sailing.
The show on the beach was also entertaining (see Seabreeze NSW!)
Go for it in Lake George boys - Rexie you are getting some really nice numbers & lots of jelly beans
