Lake George, SA, AU

yieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew , 3rd day here, 3rd day sailing. Naish SP60 all day with Koncept 5.8 and BP speed weed 25. Great combo, fin never let go. We don't have the real flat water we are hoping for but Jimbob turned up at 4oclock to show us a good spot which is where I got my PB. Just not enough wind to get to 40 today but still a PB so I'm wrapt. The hour was a bonus and to be honest I would have been shitty if I didn't get a Nautical pb cause I was trying my hardest for one.

Such a magical day with over a dozen of us out. Hoping tomorrow is a lay day so I can have a rest....I'm buggered!!!!

Stoked and gutted at the same time. Had a blast first off with the boys down behind the islands doing speed runs. Awesome wind and water conditions but just need that extra bit to crack the magic 40. Pretty windy and shallow in spots but a bloody hoot too. Made the journey back up wind and had a break. My back was killing me on long runs with Sciatica so struggled a bit with distance.

Warmed up a bit and went out to try for a Nm and Alpha's. Was wrapped with 3 fully cranked gybes on a speed board and was sure I had smashed an Alpha pb. But nothing, gutted. Mustve missed something as I had 32 knots on the way out. Was a bit over powered on the 6.4 at thsi stage and had a big off so called it a day.

Awesome spot and a great bunch of blokes.

Falcon 79, Evo IV 6.4, custom weedy 19.
