Today was always a gamble and we lost, wind was too strong really but probably would of been okay if there was anywhere broad and flat enough to get up to speed. East course was square and the west course too choppy with waves at the end of it.

We played safe and gave up.

Poor wind but flat water. Got there early and a lovely day with a bit of warmth and sun after all the hideous weather ovver  the last few weeks. No chance of getting decent speeds and my best run was ruined by the fin hitting a submerged object in the middle of the lake,  the resulting catapult was nasty but amazingly no broken gear.

Only managed a couple of runs today as it way too windy and choppy for me on 5.5m..

Good fun slingshots...wind was broard so runs were very short.
