Survived really windy period where there were a few almost moments. I'm surprised at PB hour where I was doing survival gybes, slow the board up to turn without crash and burning. Last 90 mins really eased off and was doing some triangles.
Peak speed is in first picture northern part of track before bottoming out for what felt like eternity before finally stopping. Fin a little worse off but okay to keep on sailing rest of day.
Again good to see people out and about:-)
Truncated file so x2 pics....

was great wind but finding flat water was not easy.
whole session on the xs missile.
Red my man could have used that 4.4 today to be a bit more comfy or just being a pussy.
only had 5 hours sleep the last couple days so not much energy today so took it easy and sailed out front and then had a beer.
was great to have sammy and all the crew for tea and drinks at the shack for his last night, the place just ain't gona be the same without him.

3930 days ago Day 2 at the Golden Lake. A little windier than yesterday and took the speed board straight out this time. Felt great today and the '11 Jp Speed 45 / '13 Hot sails Gps 5.5 combo with the Vector speed 23 were awesome. Even though tired from yesterday the mojo was back and a nip of port helped too. Couldn't manage more than 41 down Sammy's gap but still happy with the speeds and overall numbers. The nautical was a little short but still okay.
For all the visitors the lake is not FLAT compared to last 2 years.
Hard work but alot of fun...
Lake George - 22 to 26 knots.

3913 days ago 2 categories Spur of the moment decision to go for a sail down at LG, 10 hour round trip with a sail in between, first decent sail in a year just haven't had a chance lately and was hanging out to test and tune my new gear, on the water at 11am and off at 3.30pm, the 5.8 felt fantastic even though all the cam batten end stops at broke on rigging and it rigged flat because of this, sailed all over the middle lake and even went for a spin on the big lake water is still choppy and on bearaways you need to lock in and hold on the rolling chop down the carpark bank got bigger the further down you went unlike other years.Wind was very gusty at times down the run and I only managed a few powered runs the rest of the time I was underpowered.Great to see so many guys out.
