after 8 weeks away at work, today was a bit of a surprise that i could still windsurf

fantastic weather today not super windy but still great fun just to be planing around the river

went for a bit of a tour of the river sailed up at point walter for a while then downwinder to peli and then finished up back where i started at melville

by this point i'd been sailing for about an hour and 3 quarters non stop and had a few lovely blisters on my hands

so after i gave a couple of alphas a crack and realising it was a waste of time as my body was not keen on any more time on water i called it a day

all up pretty sweet day

excellent to just get back from 8 weeks away rig up some gear and it just work perfectly

did i mention i'm happy to be back

Short session at Pinnaroo Pt. Wind was a bit up and down but it was nice be on the water. What a lovely autumn day.

Well that was a lot of effort for little reward 

On the water @ 4.30 with the Patrik 135 + 8.4 TR8 + 46 Sting.

Way undercooked and after half an hour plodding back and forth came in to upsize.

Second combo...F162 + 10.7 R5 + K76.  Managed a few planing runs on this set-up, but overstayed my welcome and slogged home in 10 knots well after sunset, regulary grounding my fin in the shallows of the point.

Unrigged two sets of gear in the dark.

The best part of the sesh was the pint of Little Creatures Pale Ale I imbibed on the journey home. 

Shoulda gone to Pinnas.

Watermans Beach, 7.3 Sonic 95. That was better. Nice short sail, actually got planing occasionally. Packed up once I got wet

After having spent three days on Kangaroo Island in 20-25 with a 4+m swell and no gear it was great to get wet.
