NO flat water by the time the wind came in but managed a few runs when the tide came in.

Off and on and very gusty but still pleased to get a sail, sitting in the office in the city i wasn't going to come down as so much rain. Glad i did.

Last minute decision to head on down, it was raining all day long and hardly much happening at home up in the trees and charts showed some good wind!

Wasn't super keen as squalls and only have my small board which sinks and with off and on wind conditions in an offshore wind environment = PANIC swim.........Sealed (this is when JAWS music plays in your head and gets louder) haha.

Didn't attempt any big bearoffs and kept my safety net as close to the shore as i could ....hahahahahaha. (Big Wuzz that i am)

Sean and I rigged in the big lull when no one was going great......turns out we got a pretty good sail on what was left of the bank with washouts and weed.......No worries i slipped in the weedy Laughing.

Great run with all the crew out there minus the boys headed to Burrum.

Rigged the 6.3 in light wind trim/jp56/bp weed 31.

Wellington Point, QLD, AU, Falcon 104, Nash Freeride 6.5 and a Viper fin 34. Very gusty and the rain killed it in between. I should have done much better than this though, with Brad getting 41 knots and Simon 100 getting 35 knots, but as he politely pointed out a 15 year old sail with no cambers and a big hole in it, is hardly an ideal gear to break speed records with

Craptastic start to Burrum... I didn't think there was enough wind to run a speed even... guess we need to make a show for the channel 7 news team...

Well they watched me dredge 90% of the time...

Will wait this time for more wind before getting suckered out again.

Burrum Heads, QLD, AU.  110l futura, 7.8 racing blade, 42.5 BP

Day 1 Burrum Windfest. Disapointing wind (10 to 13kts) from the NE. Dredged upwind against the incoming tide in 10kts. Wind picked up at the end and managed a couple of decent runs.

Great to be up here, beautiful location, great company. The forecast does not look good, but fingers crossed the weathermen have got it wrong.

Very impressive speed JR! If you weren't so soft it might have been even better Wink

Hey Riggs & Jarrafe, glad to see you've both still got your LG jelly beans.

Riggs, did you get the message, Dot's got some pics of you?
