Gr8 sail today but wind very square to the bank making it hard bearing off into knee high chop man the chop comes up quick at high speeds.
Not a good place for my small speed board with a big trip across the bay with huge chop makes it hard to keep on the water over n back in 25kts.
Good call Jarreau to sail at VP mud banks or should we call you egg head now after your crash.
Good sailing with Mat also 1st sail here for both of you.

GREAT seshion today, sun was out and wind was there  . Took the light wind board out as i've no sail fitness and dont fancy swimming at VP.
Hit a turtle with no damage and stayed upright. Had a BIG off when i hit either weed or bank.....Hence my now egghead.....lol. Thanks again Matty for seing how i pulled up, you're a good sport  .(Didn't break anything thank god! I was shore that hitting a mast at that speed isnt too good...lol)
The Jp would "chine walk" at will and connected to the venom was very spongy when loading up and off the wind.
Thanks for the tour Cap and Matty for joining in later on.

wind really blew again. Tried a different combo and got a better max speed but control wasn't good.
Came in to change to a smaller board and couldn,t stop shivering, so gave it away.

Arrived late, Captain and Jarreau were already out so had to find them sailing the bank. It was my first time and loved it, plenty of flat water but just not enough for some big bear offs, was a little choppy so had to back off a few times...
Mistral 91ltr, 5.6 sail and 29 BPs I love the Mistral and I know it has so much more in it, one day 40plus!
Great to be out with Glynn and Jarreau!
