Primbee, NSW, AU    Well I finally broke my favourite mast NP 430 X7. Went out this arvo just as the cloud

moved in making the 20kt NE very gusty and moving around, came into the shallows

across the wind lining up a bear away, when snap and I was bouncing across the water,

helmet came off and I lost my prescription sunnies. 32kts on the dial.

Tabou 95l Rocket   NP 5.8 RS6  no damage to sail or board. Tomorrow?

Sailing with Dad at Hawksnest in a gusty breeze. Went for the 1 hr, but not too great a result (dropping too many jibes). Great fun though.

Jimmy's Beach, NSW, AU NE up to 20 knots. Gusty & choppy

Another fun session with Ben. Hard to get any good speeds but still a hoot. Was a little bit underfinned.

Gerroa, NSW, AU

Gusty NNEr up to 25kts and choppy. Well powered up most of the time, but still plenty of opportunity for fast runs in through the chop behind the break. Running out near the rocks was working but the wind was just not strong enough for long enough.

Went in to organise a rescue in the middle of the session. They usually have a jet ski at gerroa but today it was missing. I felt sorry for the life gaurd who ended up paddling 600m out to rescue a guy with a trashed sail getting slowly blown out to sea. Top effort getting him back in.

6.2RSR, 56cm wide slalom Chester, 28cm custom G10 slalom fin.

First time on a smaller board that the Starboard Start, and without a centreboard.  Didn't work too well with the weed fin - changed to an upright and it was ok.

Primbee.  Strong NE Seabreeze.  solid 25 by late afternoon.

Great to get the 36 knot monkey off my back!.

North Warp 2011 7.0, switching back and forward between Fanatic Facon 104 with Gun Weed Control 29, and Fanatic Falcon 80 with Black project Weed Speed. Quickest 2 sec was on the 80, but 2nd and 3rd quickest 2 sec was on the 104.

Terry had a big off with a snapped mast.  Phil turned up late but with a new speed board and seemed to jag some incredibly gusts so watch for some big number from him!

Don't hurt yourself again Terry. You missed enough sailing already this year with your rib injury. Hope you're ok. Shame about the mast and the glasses.
