Primbee, NSW, AU   What a way to finish the year! A 20kt plus W to SW came through this arvo. Super smooth,

some extra strong gusts, changed to a freeride sail to keep safe, used most of the arvo.

A summer Westerly, very rare and not predicted, sad for those that missed it.

Tabou 95l Rocket  NP 6.2 RSSL   Loft 5.3 freeride    Who and where is TEX?

Primbee, NSW, AU WNW to WSW up to 20 knots in the gusts.

A rare summer westerly - pretty flat and pretty gusty but a heap of fun. Warm, sunny and a few Speedsters outCool. Fairly shallow in a few places - will have to do a bit of fin polishing after this session! The 6.2m was the right rig for 60% of the time but the wind got a bit puffy after 5pm so did a bit of walking.

Primbee.  Fanatic Falcon 104, North Ram 6.3, Gun Weed Control 29.

Well I was there, but in my turkey, ham and christmas-pudding induced stupor, I forgot the GPS so it was a JFF (Just For Fun) sail, hence the golden duck score-card!

Didn't miss anything too spectacular, perhaps a respectable nautical mile in the middle there somewhere.

Good to be on the water with Terry, Bushy (didn't recognise at first in the new helmet), Darren (leaving as I arrived), Phil and late arrival MT who rigged big and as usual had a whale of a time.

Primbee, NSW, AU

Arrived to see everyone standing and waiting on the wind, so rigged the 7.2, took my slalom board and hoped it would kick back in. A great fun sail in the end, planed most of the time and got a few good gusts.

Great session guys and stoked you scored a summer westerly. Congrats on the pb's Terry, good to see the ribs have fully recovered and you are charging even harder now. (making up for lost time) Travelling around NW Thailand with the family and am out of the water for about another 20 days but still log in occasionally to see what I'm missing. Anyways wishing everyone a happy New Year's Eve tomorrow and Stu I hope your foot gets better soon mate, its no fun sitting on the sidelines.

Where's your scores Phil?

Also, is there any significance to the upturned wheelie bin at the Windang end of the flats?  Nautical mile marker?  Hidden obstacle?  Or is it simply a salutory symbol to the local recalcitrant youth?

Awesome speeds Phil.  Hard to say there's anything wrong with your sail shape with those results on the board!
