Merry Christmas everyone - Great sail in the swinging N/NW seabreeze this afternoon with Steve and Ben. Great long cruisey runs - no better way to spend Christmas Eve in the sun on the water.

3620 days ago Most frustrating day ever... Firstly I went out on the IS117 and the R3 7.8, but my uj broke about 200m of shore. This was bad enough, but as it came down in punctured the deck of my beloved 117... It can be fixed however, so all is not lost. But then I didnt have a big board for conditions which had lightened considerable by the time got in and sorted everything out. Fortunately, Steve came to rescue, offered my the use of his 2015 (!!!!!!!) IS107 and a uj. So I rigged the RSX 8.5, whacked it on and got out there for a blast - but the wind was light, inconsistent and gusty... Spent the majority of time dogging, but felt good in the gusts! Good breeze forecast for later in the week - good thing as I only have small boards left!! Massive thanks to Steve, I owe you like 100000 beers... And also well done to angus and fergus, you guys are getting better every single time you go out.

Another fun sail at Sandy Bay with the usual suspects. Shoulda rigged the 8.6 and have to stop rigging the 7.8 all the time when it looks windier than it is. Well done Fegus on the PB and you finally beat me fair and square in the 2 sec, you deseve it

Nice seabreeze, but a bit too light. Would have been better on an 8.5 or bigger.
I thought there were more whitecaps, but it was mostly just sparkly bits in the sunshine.
