Severne overdrive 6.2, Isonic 107, Drake dw 34.

Great sail today, awesome fun. Had a few nice runs. A couple of good gybes, none planning though. Haven't been out on the 6.2 in about 3 months, good to get some wind.

Started off with dodgy SW wind but turned W after an hour or so and filled in thankfully. Lots of people on the water enjoying the great conditions. Thanks for the board Russ goes very nicely!

Mortimer Bay, TAS, AU. Isonic 107, OD R5 7.0 and Vector volt 2 36cm.

Great sail at Mortimer with heaps out. Wind just didnt really happen which was frustrating. Very happy with the new Volt 2 36cm and finally got the 107 firing.

Mortimer Bay,

First time ive sailed from here, and I loved it! Great spot, would love to come back. Went out on the IS90L and the R4 6.2, and it felt perfect. I started heading upwind, but as i gybed to head downwind and do some speed runs I spunout and catapulted - putting my head through my sail. Feeling like a proper muppet I headed back in and derigged. Fortunately angus lent me his gear (IS110, R4 7.0) for 45 mins or so, and I really focussed on gybes and longer runs. Ended up being better suited to the conditions anyway as the wind dropped.

Mortimer Bay, TAS, AU iSonic 2015 97L, 7.8 OD, Drake DW 38cm.

Nice sail at Mortimer.  Headed off downwind for a NM firt run out and then tacked upwind, but the wind dropped out before I could head off the wind again.  First time out on the iSonic 97 and it felt great.  Wouldn't normally sail it with a 7.8m, but waiting on new masts and sails to arrive, so that's all i had.  Really surprised how good that combination felt.  Very happy with the board and can't wait to sail it with the new 7.0m.

Track in to Mortimer is no longer 4WD and it showed by the number of sailors!  Good fun!

Lagoon Beach, TAS, AU

Not the best of days, had a big stack on christmas day...thought I got away with it but a minor catapult while trying to get my feet in the straps after my first jybe proved I didnt, broke my (read: "Dad's Favourite") mast and had a nice swim over to Kelso, met some new (and very welcoming) new friends, had a cuppa tea, watched the cricket and waited for someone to come get me.
