Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU - strong SSW/S breeze about 25+ knots with intermittent rain squalls which flattened the water but also dropped the wind strength as it passed through.Managed some good but short runs. HSM 6.0 GPS + CA SL55 + 19cm MUF.

Sailed with a bunch of LM'ers, Sue, Byron, Andrew and later Bruce. Thanks for the cake Andrew.

Had a few stacks - one when the Delta let go in the chop coming back in and another when I ran over a massive 2m x 20cm tree branch just below the surface in the shallows of the sand bank. Board rode up and over it but still threw me forward and onto the sail. Lucky no damage.

Walked back to see if I could move or pick up the branch but it was too big and heavy for me. Strained the back a tad trying. Unable to mark it as had noting on me, but have a good idea of location, so we can send Old Pete out on his kayak to try and find it. Almost impossible to see in the water as it is the same colour as the sandy bottom!!! Be careful if out there.....

Fun sail at Canton with Johnny! More bumps than Budgewoi lake but maybe the wind is more consistant! Thanks to Johnny helping me to go on and crack the 100kms! How good are weed fins after using delta's for so long! The Bic mother ship, Loft 7.3m sail and 36cm JP Weedy.

 Looks like I found a few more knots with the rest of my file. Chris is dissapointed. Armchair sail with Rob and Chris on a gusty SSW- S wind 12-18k. Two sessions with the second half being more powered up. 104,29,7.0.

 Congrat to Matt on the 2 PB's. Nice.. Well done to the Budgie Boys Marauders. Nice numbers all round.
