3573 days ago Gosford, NSW, AU Point Frederick SE 8-10 knots. Late afternoon sail (4.30-5.30) on my new JP SLW with Sailworks NX9.2 and stock 56cm carbon fin. Only the occassional whitecap. Good fun in such light wind. Just what the board is made for.

Launched from Cockies again today chasing stronger wind rather than flatter water. Wind was more up and down then I experienced the last week and it was hard to jag a solid gust on the starboard run close to shore, so I ended up doing some runs in the stronger wind further out. Sailing here in these tough choppy conditions is teaching me a lot about my gear which should translate to better figures when I get back home to the flatter water at Queens.
Spent the arvo tacking up to the weather station, then lauching into a run on starboard, super long drawn out gybes and tack back to the weather station, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat............
Loving the 2015 KA Race sails, and have the rigging sussed for my sailing style now.
Day off tomorrow thank goodness, to allow the holes in my feet to do some more healing.

Unexpected strong wind today. Thought we were in for a lighter fading wind today. It just built on the 14-17k gusts to 20 -25 by lunchtime.Had three sessions on three different boards and two differnt sails and fins. Hit it with Pete Rob and Chris to start with the big stuff, but had to come in and change.
Great sessions on all the gear, especially the Patrick 71 speed board. Board seems to have no limit to the acelleration.Very enjoyable. Thank you Mark. You looked like you settled into the spot and looked very quick out there. Great speeds and a PB no doubt.! Congrats to Chris and to Marree on their respective PB's too.
Nice chatting with Matt AKA Skinny.Safe travels, Good luck with the Firmware. Good talking with Sammy today too. Rod our local guy, was also looking pretty fast today. Great effort on the speeds acheived and the home brew is pretty good thanks! Need a day off!! 104,34,7.0, then 79, 27,7.0, Then 79,23, 6.2, then, Patrick 71, 28, 6.2.

3573 days ago Lake George, SA, AU. A challenging day initially looking like a relaxed sail on big gear. 6.6 Ka Concept and Carbon Art 93 were a handful on the gusts but the bearaway was magic. Choppy and gusty and overpowered at times so changed to a 5m and much more controllable. So happy with my speed. Big congrats to Mark and Maree doing the Marauders proud with great PB's. Great work guys!!!!!!!
