Boombuster (66243km): Lake George, SA, AU Another good day on the lake more PBs bit of a fight wit the 6.3 at times. JP SP50 Loft 6.3 BP WS34 n 28

Drifter (25549km): Lake George, SA, AU Woke this morning to overcast skies. The wind was cold and from the SE at 12 kts. By mid morning the cloud cover had been blown away and the wind increased with every hour. After a quick lunch we headed to 5 mile drift and wind speed at the waters edge was reading 11 to 23kts, which meant a solid 25kts past the wind line. The sail size decision was easy today as the North RAM 5.7 is my smallest and I got the nod of approval from Daffy as I rigged. We hit the water a 2.00 knowing it was going to continue to build. I started off on the Misty 91 and BP WS 34. The board and sail felt great. The windward runs were fast but hard work in reasonable chop with gusts over 25kts. The downhill runs were unbelievable. The Misty has such fantastic manners riding the tail with each gust. Came in for a break to take on water, chocolate and catch my breath with a 38 on the dial. Tony tells me this is a PB on the Misty 91. Tony was over the moon with a 41 on the dial. Went out for the second session at 4.00, this time on Tony's CA 50 and Tribal WS 23. This was my first time on a speed board. What a feeling, the accelleration is epic. The wind had increased to 25 to 30kts. Managed only a few runs before my ribs started playing up. I got myself up for one last run before I called it a day. All the crew had recorded various BPs. Mark and Tony with virgin 40kts, Chris with 36 and Sue with 34. Glynn carried a 6.2 and cracked anopther 42kts. The youngsters, Shaun and JR only hit the water at 4.00 when the wind was at itrs strongest, expect some big numbers. Lake George is supposed to be easy, but this wasn't easy. Every one of these speeds had to be earned in very challenging conditions. It was awsome to be a small part of the experience

RIGGS (8399km): Lake George, SA, AU Headed out late as forecast was to pick up. Launched from 5 mile to have a go on the flat water. Sailed a few runs but the wind was much too broad for good speed. Headed over to cockies and got better speed through the chop. Is49, NP 5.8 Techart 20
