Primbee, NSW, AU  JP FSW 98, naish edge 5.5  Crazy southeasterly, went out with slalom kit but was blown off the water so went in after one run and rigged some wave kit. was scary fun bearing away out in the middle. Some good speed for oid wave gear!!

Primbee, NSW, AU   At least 30kt gusts and a high tide made it really choppy this arvo, if you used a cam sail

you would have got flogged out in the middle, had to turn in between gusts.

Wollumboula Lake, NSW, AU

Late sail, on the water just after 6pm. The lake is shallow at the moment so I used an unfinished 19cm 50deg weed fin which worked fairly well. Would have liked a bit more wind, but still an enjoyable quick sail.

6.4 Evo7, 56cm wide Chester.

The 6.4 was nicely powered up across the wind but I would have liked more when I was bearing away. You did say rig bigger but I think the 7.0 would have overpowered the small fin.

Mark, amazing speed!

P.S. I was leaving as you were rigging up. Had a 2.5hr drive back to Sydney so didn't get a chance to introduce myself.

Hey Mark, I was watching the forecast with the intention of heading down but after buying a trailer for windsurfing this week opted to bank some brownie points with the family instead. I'm very keen to get there when the next southerly lines up.
