Very wintery feel out there today. Very high tide made it lumpy and the flat water was scarce. On and off with the wind too.

I was chatting to a very friendly guy in the car park for a while and it only took us both around 5mins to realise we were on the same teamEmbarassed I wont forget Tailwind now. Got some extra enthusiasm with JJ and GS turning up too. I was just about to call it a day but the team turnout is a great morale booster. I wanted to wave to you Shaw but had my hands full with a NM, and when i saw you again you were doing the same.

Good day considering the forecast.

Safety Bay Pond - IS101, CR6.5, Weedy - Met a friend there and we spent 10 minutes trying to decide on 6.5 or 7.5.  Ended up with the wrong choice of 6.5.  Quite a bit of slogging into the vertical swells.  In the end, we did have a good couple long runs towards Warnbro.  As I have never been in swells this big before, it was quite an experience.  Now in front of the PC, I am feeling a bit seasick!

I thought that was Lunny and JJ, but we never got close enough to say hi properly.

No wind when I arrived at 2, eventually the wind returned to a gusty 12 to 20 knots. Mostly about 16 knots.

Good to race around with Tailwind and Lunny.

Great afternoon at Safety Bay, the odd rain storm wasnt enough to dampen the mood. Nothing to write home about but some fun sailing in different conditions and good chatting with Craig and JJ and some of the locals. nice option for tomorrow if the wind comes in again.

Better than expected conditions, nicely powered at times. Not many out, FO Marco having a crack. Time it perfectly 'cause the wind switched off on my home run.

most memorable thing about this sail is that i got the 460 jammed tight and 10 men couldnt get it apart.

Have had to buy a new one!!

Craig, you beat JJ at the nm! Good going!

..that's a lot of distance in the bumpy stuff too

Sorry I couldn't join you, I ended up being caught at work nearly all day.

Andrew, looks like the hand has mended. Welcome back!
