bushfire (26346km): Primbee, NSW, AU. Very on and off wind from NW to WSW, maybe up to 25 knots at times. The tide was up and the water was pretty flat but the wind was very inconsistent. The board was a little under finned and a bit twitchy but I didn't hit the bottom so happy with the setup, all in all. The 7m sail was very good and very managable in the swirly wind. It wasn't as cold as I was expecting but still no summer's day. Great to catch up with normal crowd, plus good to see Wayne after a few months. Look after that thumb mate! TERRY (45356km): Primbee, NSW, AU Started off around 10.00 with a cam sail but a broken boom put me into my small freeride sails for the afternoon, some big gusts and a lot of drifting. 29kts max. on the meter for the day. Nudist, Tex and Mudcrab were getting their spray on tans for their trip to Brazil. Tabou 95l Rocket NP 5.8 Evo 6 and Loft 5.3 freeride

Windsurfunstu (6659km): Primbee, NSW, AU Hard work today! Had a ball but never really felt very settled. Started out with a 7m and went for an Alpha then swithched up to the 7.8m to try for an hour. Got the Alpha but discovered an hour is a long time in those conditions ran out of breeze about 45mins in, bummer! Kms was a bonus Great to see a great bunch of loons braving the cold! See youll next time JP Slalom VI 65 101L, Unifibre FWD WD 26 & MUF Delta 24, SV R5 7m & SV R6 7.8m | ||||||||||||||||||
Matt R (17286km): Primbee, NSW, AU. JP66 102L, 29/50 Guns wf, Isonic 86L, 23/50 Guns wf, SV 7m OD. One of those inconsistent westerlies. Initially it was difficult to get more than 100m metres before coming off the plane. Lots of flat glassy sections mixed in with a few full-on overly turbulent blasts which made for some spectacular crashes on my part but no damage sustained thankfully so enough complaining. Great to catch up with everyone and the day was still worth a few hours taken as time off in lieu. Fastest times today were on the 102L surprisingly. |
