Tuff day. Lots of South so super duper gusty 0-20kn. First run out in the middle of the lake I had a shocker, went over the handle bars when I hit a bigger piece of chop the wrong way, broke my harness line. Was too lazy to tack back to the carpark in the on and off wind to replace the harness line. Damn that was hard work, 16klm of sailing with 8klm of it with no harness and lit up. Didnt last long.
Tried the MUF Delta 19 Freeride in the bigbird as the tide was right out and the mudbank was super shallow and my regular 30 weedy was just too deep. It worked quite well so i will use it again in future when lit with the 7m.
Sailed with Salty. Tide looks better at Harrys for the end of the week so i may investigate that on Friday if the wind stays Southerly.

First sail since May, first launch from Seltin and first visit to the mud bank. Hard work in the gusty chop with the 73 but so much fun. Lovely surprise to see Gabe and Pete! Surprised not to see Steve - I thought he lived out there! Nice to meet Andre and always a pleasure to sail with Mr Easter. Huge thanks to Adam for rescuing me as I floated off down the channel on the way home.
So FREAKING SENSATIONAL to make it out for a sail on a work day

decided on a run up to Queens with Pete. Andre made it up too a little later. Turned out there was no rain and some sun. Nice to pack up relatively dry after a good session. Apparently it bucketed down back home most of the day.
Tricky picking what to rig as it was a little light, and gusty wind to start. No one else out until just before launching when we spotted a sail out on the other side. Sailed up to see that it was Nicole which was a pleasant surprise. Had some nice runs as the wind started to pick up. Very gusty with some stronger bullets. It started to go shifty on us and a bit choppy as Andre got out, and we decided to head in not long after. Came home into driving rain..
