Primbee, NSW, AU    What was I thinking, in the water at 9.30 with small gear and a strong SSW, great in the rain squalls

but then a lot of drifting, very choppy out in the middle. A few runs behind the jetty but pretty shallow.

Had a break and it was cold and raining, left early just as the Sun came out and the wind went to the S.

                                Tabou 76l 3S  Loft 4.7 wave   GT-31  maybe tomorrow

Primbee, NSW, AU. SB Carve 99L BP 23WS, Isonic 86L, Guns 23/50 (actually more like 21.5 due to constant sanding), Loft O2 6.6m.

Good to get a few hours off work today but the southerly was at tad inconsistent though seemed to improve a little during the afternoon. Got to agree Terry, it felt like winter again today. Tomorrow arvo could be ok.

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU

Little mission to check out Budgewoi. Found a great bunch of sailors who were happy to help out with some local info. Thanks guys Laughing Hope next time I'll have more time to talk to more of you. Congrats to the boys who bagged PB's!!!! Also turns out I've totally lost my nerve for blasting through floating weed with a small Delta. Really struggled to point it in a straight line and let it go. In the end I was happy to come away in one piece. Great spot guys, look forward to coming back for another crack sometime.

Glad you came up Stu. What a crazy day huh? Good fun, but I agree with you about the weed islands... they were so thick! I never felt quite comfortable enough to let it rip into the shallows. Still, and epic day!!

Congrats on the sweet alpha, Phil

It was great to meet all of you guys too. Glad I made the trip. Looking forward to getting back up there for a NE'er over summer. Maybe I'll make a weekend of it and drag the tribe along next time.

Nice effort Stu. Great speeds for a unfamiliar location. Well done.
