Had very slow but pleasant sail at Fangy's, on the QEII, with 3.9 sail and the DECREPITSUPERMASSIVEDELTOID fin. There were lots of firey juvenile crabs, and a couple of stingrays who enjoyed riding in the wake of my board. I think they liked it, but I certainly didn't! I practised my gybes, and I didn't fall in once (which was very exciting)! Overall it was heaps of fun, even though very slow and great practise for summer!

 Cool

The only fail of the day was dad (Fangy) sitting on his nanna chair in knee deep water and gradually sinking... I am not sure if he was sitting on the chair because he is lazy, or petrified of the "juvenile angry beans" (crabs).

Arrived at Fangys (Nairns) after fifi left so Ididn't get to see the kid in action, but sopunds like a great start to the season Fi!

Very little wind so plugged the 6.6 koncept and 21cm 55d big deltoid into the big yellow beast. Slogged up wind to the sbend/Wanjeep st area where what wind there was seemed to be concentrated, and had several nice planing runs in the supper smooth stuff.

Had the xperiaE on my head, the GT31 on left arm and pixie3 on right arm with earphones.

here's the phone's results

             2s           5x10            1hr           alpha          NM              dist

congratulation to fifi.it is great to see new people in our sport.I did not see you sail but I did notice that your arms are getting longer . Soon you will be dragging your knuckles on the ground like the rest of us.

My protege ,the barbarian made some more progress today.

   Coodanup afternoon,  WA.

Wind was lite on the endless weed, with a bit more wind up over the westend of the weedy goodness.

There was some very thick patches of weed in some spots, and came off a couple of times but speed was

low so no damage. It was slo-mo over the side and into the weed.

I was useing the user-friendly f2 SX-R58, the ka kon7.5, and the 20cm weed47, not quite the right fin but

but was good enough??

Tabou Rocket wide 128L, NP RSR E6 7.8, Elmo SS 42cm

After missing out on Monday's carnage because I had to hunt for a new water heater after ours went cactus on the weekend, we had the lovely new H2O molecule speeder upperer installed this morning so after a long day of computer work I was a chomping, unfortunately the red arrows weren't delivering optimism, still I ventured forth.

Novara, possibly could have gone out but would have needed the 11m, so I headed west, boo ha some lumpy ggodness and breeze in front of Casa El Decrepo.

Riged up walke he gear over the HUUUUGE beach to the water line, walked the gear out to the large gap as the was a low tide and a lot of sand in the bay.

But once at the gap life was good, straight onto the plane and blasting out through some Avalon Lumpy goodness, as I was sailing on my Pat Malone and there was a shark attack not a km away the day before I promptly fluffed my first gybe, come to thiink about it I did the same on my second and third gybes as well.

Only did a handfull of runs as this time of year it can go from nice breeze to zip in the blink of an eye.

That and I've come to the concussion that I'm once again a Fat FLICK who is Distant Ken Unfit.

Still extremely happy with getting out and having a blast.

Good work Fifi and congrats on the PB's and on staying on the board all the time. Your dear papa would do well to copy your technique. Did he get his chair planing at any time? I thought not.
