Johno (4871km):  Henty, TAS, AU Snow trip revisited only not the conditions when we got there. Forecast looked the best for a year and after driving through snow then hail and rain the forecast wind just didnt happen. Nice and fresh though 5 deg C but the apparent temp (feels like) was -6.0c After all our effort trying to do NM's about 20 runs in all looks like we ended up short so it includes the slow start and pull up at the end. The current near the mouth was strong and scary pulling your feet out from under you we used every bit of the river we could. | cookie (20684km): 3 categories    Henty, TAS, AU, Another interesting day at the Henty, we couldn't rig at the usual spot because the river was so high. Went out for a few runs in about 20 knots, it dropped out after a bit so we went back to the van to find it surrounded by water. Moved it to higher ground, had a drink and went back out after the wind picked again. The wind was fairly square so there was no walking today.
