Started work early and knocked of early to take advantage of the good forecast. Rigged at Lota and sailed the creek. First sail and well powered up on the new 6.3. Spent a lot of time adjusting harness lines, boom height, downhaul and footstraps trying to get comfortable. Succeeded some of the time, but more work to do. I recon I was a bit underfined. I can't complain though, my 2sec and 10X5 are Qld PBs (or more acurately non Lake George PBs). However I'm in danger of becoming a 2sec queen as I was unable to complete any of my jybes. Oh well - a work in progress. A good turnout, Glynn, Albert, Phil, Steve, Simon, Clive and Brad.

I was sailing over the reef and could not find any markers; finally saw them sailing 300m down wind. Lota was flat and nice to sail, but of course I could not get any speeds over 30 knots. Had my doze for the week. Totally exhausted!
