Took as short drive up to Burrum today. Scary stuff with the bank up the top only just coming out and zero water visibility. Tried to keep wide but still managed to slam into the bank messing up the only decent fin I have. Frown

 GPS didnt show it but had a blast up the end of the bank. Wind so consistant compared to the GC - just a pleasure to sail in and well powered up on the 7m! Was going to call into Cootharaba or Weebar but so glad I kept going.

Hopefully with the lower tide tomorrow conditions will improve.

Was suppose to be light today so when I got down there and only read 13kts on the gusts I rigged the 7.9 had one run and got blown off the water.

Fantastic day again around 20kts all arvo super flat water in spots. Very crouded some sort of kite clinic Daff told one off he swore at him and the kiter told him to wash his mouth out very funny.

95 Ray - started with 5.5 Fusion and 30cm Techtonic but changed up to the old faithful 6.4 Jet and 32 Techtonic. Put another hole in the Jet so may be time for a new one.

sse wind 10-25 knots up and down all day with rain squals

Big gear these days is getting better and easier to use

Gt31 didn't have sd card in and ran out off internal memory. Trip meter was 325km but only fair to post what track proves wich was only 150km.

Rules are cool look out next month for big kms

Wow huge day for everyone especially the PBs and Phil's 30k - congrats all!! I did sail at Vp and with not feeling 100% and wind one extreme to the other with scuds I est 40kts gusts then nothing, was really up and down and I didn't bother posting. Looking forward to a better sail Sunday maybe.....

I have checked the "hour by hour" and for the first 4 hours I managed to average 21.6 knots (40km/hr) - absolutelt stoked with that average.

for the last 2 1/2 hrs the wind kept dropping to about 5 knots then gusting through and I only averaged 16.2 knots.

Shannon was on the water about 6.30 am and stopped about 5pm

I hit the water about 9.30 and finished about 5.45pm - with only one stop for 15mins just after the 4 hour make.
