Tried to go for distance, but it was not supposed to happen. Played in the long distance race, and promptly put a huge hole into my sail when my foot slip going into a jibe. Had to re-rig and decided to take an early lunch break. Then in the afternoon, I lost a fin 3 mile out, and had to walk and sail back. Took more than 2 hours...

Going for distance in Avon. Mostly Skate 90, Idol 5.0, rest on Falcon 89, TR-7 7.0. Unfortunately, the wind died early.

Bonaire Lac Bay. NP EVO6 7.0, iSonic 107, Drake Carbon 38. Wind: 13 knots

Wind was fickle today, it backed off just as I finished rigging. Being lazy, I went out anyway rather than derig (and was hoping it would pickup later - it didn't). Got some decent runs but also got dumped in the middle of the bay trying to unhook from the harness line when the wind died. Spent what seemed like forever drifting and waiting for a gust of wind (guess I should really attempt to uphaul on this board at some point in time). Wind finally picked back up to 13 knots so I got in a few runs and was able to get the tightness of the front foot straps dialed in.

This file came from my GW-52.
KA-72 choked on my file from my GT-31. (no 5x10 and an Alpha of 19 knts)

RRD X-Fire 98
TR-X 7.0
BP Speed Weed 38

Nursing my ribs, unable to sheet in on a port tack, but still able to contribute to the team score for the month.
Incredible day watching 100+ sailors racing 12 miles in 20 knt winds. Too cool for words. Loved the stoke!

Wow! Obviously it was team distance day. Well done everybody, especially Nina - second top distance for ladies in the history of the GPSTC. What might you have done if the wind had not died?

Congratulations on the nm PB Roo!

Dean, If by 'your way' you mean Bonaire, unfortunately no. Will be in Oregon getting spanked in the Gorge Laughing. Would love to have a chance to watch you sail so I can pick up some more helpful suggestions.
