3117 days ago Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU CA 225, delta 30 then changed to 24, 10m Maui, 9m Avanti.
took out 10m hit thick weed stopped went over front snapped coupleing that joins mast. Rigged 9m and right at the end went to close to shore and came to an abrupt stop breaking my smaller boom!
Other than that and a couple of bruises to get 30 2's is great after so long.
As for the gang sailing you all looked amazing out their especially when it got cranking with all seeming overpowered! Mike was the total CHAMP by for the most in control when I was out their. Well done on another 40 kt Matty, Johnny and Mick killing it in the heavy stuff as usual, Sue and Andrew always a pleasure you both looked super fast, special mention to all the others having a crack, Hope all NSW sailers got a good go today God Bless you all!
PS I'm sure I saw a DARK LORD wizzing around and then as if by magic was GONE.....

3117 days ago Well what a fantastic day out on the lake! I took the new Starboard Futura out with the little Sailworks 5.6 Hooker. Bloody windy out there for me! Managed to ding my board and turn my GPS off half way through. So I have got another 11km of tracks still to upload. I think I could have gone a bit quicker but the shallow weed was a bit scary and takes some getting used to, but what a day! Yeeeeeeeeew!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Geat to see everyone out going a lot quicker than me, Crazy people!!!!!

3117 days ago Too much for me, when I got out about 2.30pm - gusts must have been pushing 30!
Straight out and straight back (with several big stacks!).

Wayno (16997km):
3117 days ago Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU - overpowered and rarely in control are the best words to describe today's session. WNW 25-33 knots
HSM 6.0 Gps + CA SL55 and 19cm Delta. Sail was way too big for conditions, even the bigger boys had small sails so I was doomed to be overpowered for most if not all of the sess.
Sailed with lots of CC Marauders Mick, Johnny, Matty, Macca, Nathan, Royce, Old Pete, Frothie and a few Lake Maccas like Bruce, Tibor, Andrew and super fast Sue.
A few had Speed Boards so I expect some top speeds and PBs.
I am constantly impressed and amazed by how fast some of the other sailors can go, wow......
Cheers Marauders.
PS Bad luck Frothie man about breaking TWO booms today, sorry buddy.
