I could only sail from 11 to 1pm as I had a prior commitment. . It was light, and lots of standing around waiting for the odd gust.
At 5 to 1, the wind came in strong. Doh, missed it! Oh well, next time. As I was leaving smaller sails and speed boards were being rigged, so I'll expect some good results for the afternoon session.

3100 days ago Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU arrived at noon to find it up and down a bit but mostly down. Rigged the HSM 6.0 GPS with CA SL55 and 19cm Delta hoping that the predicted wind would come. After about 1pm it kicked in fierce from the West gusting 20-30 knots. The lake is up a bit so it meant that it was choppier than usual. The flatter water was way in closer to shore. Getting back home was a tad difficult in the chop with a Delta on.
Heaps of dudes out from CC Marauders, MNC Marauders, L.Mers, and a few others I did not know. Great to see so many going fast, a few even had their speed boards out.
Called it quits when I got cold and started making mistakes and losing my strength due to being cold. Saw Jamie C have a massive catapault and get up holding his head, which hit the mast, but he seemed OK after it, I hope. It was BIG.

Brushed off the cobwebs today, its been quite a while since I've been out on the board. Almost went in to change up a sail just before it kicked in, so very glad I didn't. I finally got to have a day off that was on a good day to be on the water. Out with plenty of people out which was great to see.

I took another day off from work and it started very light and patchy and found it hard going with the 7.8 and CA117 not sure how everyone with small sail were going! then the wind came in and I changed down to 6.3 and the speed board had lots of great runs but never could line up the gusts on the flat water! Lots out Johnny, Micky, Froth, Wayno, Jamie, Paul, Royce (thanks for the lend of the board as it would have been a stuggle to get in on mine) Old Pete, Byron, Hugh, Andrew, Walshy, Mark, Bill and Anton (nice to Meet you and those gybes were looking great!).
Everyone was looking fast today!
Started out on the CA117, 7.8m loft and 23 delta, then 6.3m loft with the CASp50 and 18 delta, 6.3 and 100L CA and 20 delta.

3100 days ago Well, took the Starboard Futura 121 and 5.6 sail out first, the wind was more off than on, so I returned to base and rigged the 7.0. As I thought the wind picked up and being quite a useless sailor was very overpowered, so back to base , rigged the 5.6 back up lifted the boom up about 15cm due to not having enough mast foot pressure and pulling wheelies all moaring, then I got a few comfortable runs in, but not very fast ones!!  .
