Primbee WNW 15-30 kts, slowly swinging westerly.  Fanatic Falcon 80, North Ram F8 6.3, Black Project Weed Speed 31.

What a way to open the Primbee Winter Westerly Speed Sailing Season!  High tide, could sail almost to the shore but no flat water - best you could hope for was to bear away on the leading edge of a gust into 'relatively' calm water.  Big turn out.  Lots of fun, lots of sun, even reasonably warm!  All that was missing was the nudist and his Texan mate!

Primbee, NSW, AU      Big turnout today, three rows in the carpark, best in the morning before it got too gusty.

NW to W and a high tide made it choppy in the afternoon but saw some big bearaways,

so there should be some good scores. Is the Spray Tan Team still around!

Tabou 95l Rocket  NP 5.8 Evo6 and Loft 5.3 freeride for the chop, only one GT-31

Great to see everyone down there on such an awesome day. Good to get back on the water after 3months, was a bit rusty so just took it easy...lost my fitness to.

Primbee, NSW, AU WNW to W over the day. Some gusts above 30 knots

It is great to get a good westerly, complete with warm weather and sunny skies. Quite a crowd at Primbee, with all saying there has not been much sailing of late! The north in the early wind made for good NM condition from the jetty down to Windang, but hard work getting back. The iS80 was great in the building chop but hard to squeeze much more speed in the chop. I changed down to the 5.6m after a lunch break and this worked well in the stronger wind. The wind turned off at the end of the day so I had a bit of walking to get back home. A fun dayCool.

Primbee, NSW, AU

Well after all the build up this week I think most of us went home happy. Great to see some faces i havent seen in a while. Too bad some missed out. Hopefully everyone gets a run this week sometime. Great to get the new Mistral 73 on the water for the first time. Very happy but need to work a couple of of things to get it dialed. Didnt manage to find any flat water and scared the shit out of myself once or twice but still had a blast Wink

Primbee, NSW, AU. AB 54 Slalom 78L, Sailwork 6.2m NX, BP 28 (23)WS.

Relatively, consistently strong conditions for a westerly and great to score a few hours early mark from work. I got this Brindal board secondhand about six month ago have finally got it onto the water and am pretty happy with how it went. The tide was fairly high which opened up much more of the playground to bear-aways but also made it a lot more choppier in the gusts. Still recall well the weightless feeling of flying through the air after catching a rail but no damage doneLaughing. Great turnout and good to catch up with many fellow fanatics again. Hope you got some good news from the docs today Marco Nudo.

Naish SP95 Loft Racing Blade 6.3 BP Weed Speed 28 Primbee, NSW, AU

Great to have some wind for a change and a good turnout at Primbee. Quite a bit of water so a huge playground but also a fair bit of chop. A few white knuckle rides but came out unscathed. Epic time trying to get this posted. House being painted so had to dig for computer, NBN modem, mouse and keyboard without being killed by furniture falling on me. Got there by 10:30pm !! Good results guys !!

The GPS was on yesterday swallowtail and the van was loaded. And this was my best....

I did a 2sec passing Nigel in the morning under Gipps Road Bridge , 5x10 going up Mt Ousley, Hour until Heathcote Rd,  alpha another PB on Australian Ave, Nautical was on the home strech and PB  175klm . 😢

Well done Jetlag great PB's... thanks for concerns about my hip guy's at this stage, steady can give it a go best I get it right for New Caledonia.

Choppy Tabou sails quite sensational in these conditions  😆.

Anyway good to see everyone had a blast well done
