Primbee, NSW, AU

Short seesion between night shifts. Typical Primbee, everything from walking to tail walking. Super choppy at times.

Mistral 95, MT Carbon 21, SV R6 6.2

Hey Mark that big 21 worked really well in the 95. Even with the board dancing around in the chop it was solidCool. No time to test the small one yet.

Primbee, NSW, AU    Only a few starters when the wind came through about 11 till 12, had to wait till it came back about 1.00.

Some pretty strong gusts WSW to SW, sometimes pretty smooth in the middle section,

Just hanging on when the big ones came through, thick weed near the ramp. Sunny all arvo.

Primbee, NSW, AU Westerly up to 30 knots in some gusts

A late afternoon session - got on the water just before 4pm. I was a bit ambitious with the 7m sail but managed one NM despite being over done most of the time. Switched over to the speed board - first time on this for nearly a year! I'd forgotten what good fun it is. Fantastic acceleration. There was actual quite a lot of weed in some places - a good sign for some flat water in the future? I nearly got stranded but got a lucky gust home just as the sun went down. Short, but good fun!Smile

Nice numbers boys. Glad the fin felt so solid Stu. The small one will be faster. It should feel better the faster you go.

Great top end Bushy. Well done mate.

Hey Stu, you're now in the top 10 NSW :) I notice bushy is now also in the top 10 and nudged me down a peg from 7th to 8th, which I worked so hard to get. I'm going to need some big kahunas to stay in the top 10 with everyone doing so well off these westerlies. Shame Saturday isn't looking so good now :( Hope to catch you all at Primbee again soon.

P.S. Terry, that's an awesome HR mate, given how gusty it probably was. Matt... sweet turn.

Awesome! Thanks Nige! I was so close yesterday to a NM PB and it didnt fell qiuck at the time. I spent a lot of that run putting the brakes on lol. Cant wait to get the right combo on the water at the right time. When I do I think these new boards and fins should get some results.

Its so good to see everyone getting out there and going for it these days, and having a blast! Great efforts by everyone to push themselves, but most of all everyone seems to be having fun. Our little community is awesome and it seems to me that windsurfing in NSW (GPSTC at least) is getting stronger each yearCool

PS I've got my hopes pegged on Friday, back to work Saturday.
