Primbee, NSW, AU

Had to work for it today. I think I'll be a little sore and sorry tomorrow. A tip for the yoga enthusiasts out there - I dont reccommed performing the scorpion at 30 knots. Not a good way to stop CryYell Looks like I just snagged an hour PB so happy with that Coolconsidering the conditions were tricky, even earlier in the day. Close to an Alpha tooFrown

Great to see another great turn out. Awesome!!!

Primbee, Wild WSW, with winds at Albion Park Airport gusting up to 45 knots just after hitting the water - not good for easing into the day and building confidence progressively!  Very high water levels, very, very rough.  Short session, too much for me.  Escaped with just one corked thigh and some grazes on the knee.

Fanatic Falcon 80, North Ram 6.3, BP Weed Speed 31.

Congratulations to all the other survivors from Primbee today!

A bit sore and sorry after that lunchtime sail. Lost the fin on a bearaway with that crazy chop. Ribs are only bruised I hope !!

Should've rigged smaller but too short on time to consider changing. Will sleep well tonight.

Well Done Stu, smokin speed for that water state.

Primbee, NSW, AU W to WSW - gust up to 40 knots I reckon.

Pretty disappointing day for me today - I got a bit spooked out by the choppy conditions, lost confidence in my fins - several spin outs at the end of some bearing aways were scary, and I saw far too many crashes. Hats off to MT & Rick who monstered the conditions!Cool. Well done to Stu for great top speed and a classic slam crash - I hope you are OK mate.

Nice to catch up with Andrew & Dave - glad you are OK after the mega crash Andrew!

The weed is starting to build up 30m or so from the shore so maybe a speed strip will start to form.

I tried out a new Tribal weed fin - felt nice in the board but not enough rake to handle the weed clumps, so it didn't last long in the board.

Primbee, NSW, AU. AB 54 Slalom 78L, SV R5 5.6m OD, Guns 23/50 and BP 23 WS.

A challenging day on the water in fairly hairy conditions with the water levels about 6 inches too high and lots of chop as a result. Still lots of fun though but same story with me, lost the fin, caught a rail in the chop and went over the handle bars but managed to unhook first thankfully. A few tweaks here and there with the rig and the BP fin made it a lot more managable Laughing

Finally was able to upload my data from yesterday. A good session all round from everybody, it was great to see such a big turnout too.

The chop made it challenging but it's good practice for when it does flatten out, hopefully sooner than later.

6.4 evo7, Chester 56cm, 23cm carbon weedy early.

5.8 evo7, Neil 46cm, 20cm G10 weedy later.

JP SS 118 7m rs racing sai

Jp sl92 7m, 6.2, 5.8 as the wind increased

I was there, never got comfortable. Checked GPS for super speeds and found the battery was flat 2 minutes after turning on.

Coffee with my two brothers at end of day helped us to warm up.

WELL DONE to those who braved the gusts and chop and to Jason for once again recording some of the day.
