Was supposed to be winder than what it was so rigged for what was supposed to be not what was - common mistake.

Some nice breeze kicked in for a while and got some PB's so that's sweet.

Underdone some of the time so came in and missed the best wind raced back out only to struggle with wind dying again.

First sail in 5 weeks.

A big turnout from the Moreton Bay Mob and Board Crazy Crew to take advantage of the unseasonal NEer. Wind was a bit up and down, sometimes non existent sometimes > 25kts. When it did blow it was at least constant. Despite only sailing 18kms, the arms are jello, which gives an indication of my general level of fittness. 

There was a bit of carnage out there in the relatively confined sailing area and at times zero visibility with 2 separate incidents. Its a credit to the sailors involved that despite there being some damage to boards and sails, no one was hurt and good humour was maintained.

First go on my new (second hand) CA55 and just getting used to it when I ended up having a head on with Steve. Scary stuff hitting that hard at speed! Board nose badly smashed but we were both very lucy to come out OK. Sorry about that Steve. Got the speed board out after that but wind just didnt kick.

Wello Point. 144 starB carve, 5.2 ezzy, 39fin. very quick session. wind died. Thanks for encouragement Phil and John. Tried to get over my PB, close but no win.
