Wet wild and windy at times but fun to be on the water. Nice to catch up with a few of the team. Unfortunatley fitness was a problem for me today, the excuse I am sticking to is the cold.

Was out all on my lonesome for quite a while, then a local and half a dozen Freestylers joined in which was entertaining, the were pretty damn good to watch. I rigged for the gusts so every now and then had to stand around but overall it wanst overpowered. The wind direction (W-WSW) only gives just enough room for a good run and alpha, rough as guts out the back. Some good gusts but as i said it wasnt overpowering.

Never got comfortable, fell in first gybe, got cold, went home before pulling a nagging shoulder muscle.

Nice to Tim, Geoff and Jake doing much better

Melville beach, WA, AU. Pretty patchy at first but then got super windy out the back. Had some great eye opening runs down near Peli Pt, absolutely lit, flying down through the swell lines. That was super fun. I think I had just too much board for today (out the back at least). 90 was just too much volume/width for comfortable sailing today. I should have put on the 85, but just couldn't be bothered. Nice to have a few runs with a bunch of crew today. Surprised to see that much distance!

Wasn't planning on sailing today but chose to take a look at Melville for a quick lunch break. Comfortably sat in the car and watched the mayhem of the gusty, blustery conditions churn up the the usually calm waters of Lucky Bay. Noticing several Pinnas had turned up, guilt got the better of me and chose to reluctantly go out. Chose to go small and paid the price as the wind eased up, although advised that it was still blowin out the back. Luckily a few stronger gust came through and some flat water made for at least one enjoyable run. A PB for this board so worth going out.

Melville , Mistral, KA 6.6 - nice to catch up with everyone and remind myself how to do this thing. Good in parts, the mixture of "balance" work and full on hammering kept it interesting.

That peer pressure can be a terrible thing Tim, you have to be strong and just stand up to those bullys.

Jake, saw you dissapearing in the distance making the outside of the sand bar look flat ! Thought that would be a good time to pack up in the sunshine.

Nice work Snake and Lunny, you improved our scores in 2 sec and 5X. 38 at Safety Bay yesterday would have been a pretty exciting ride, Craig.
