Fangy's with Tugger and a cold southerly breeze.I took the Party Barge for a splash and tacked on the Koncept7.5 to provide the giggles. The tide was high at Wamba St and I could have used a more suitable weedy but I wanted to see how my assy Delta behaved. Tugger took my Decrepit34weedy and that seemed to be a really good choice for him with plenty of lift and control. For me,I am happy with the assy. The most notable difference that I can pick thus far, is the far more forgiving spin out characteristics. Of course, the chop isn't the best place to be trying out a 22cm Delta, but it did mean that I practiced keeping my legs soft and bent!

Tugger and I had some fun in the chop and forgot the cold for awhile. Twas good fun running down the chop lines and generally just enjoying a steady breeze. A few small bergs and some ribbon type weed got caught under the fin, but for the most part there is still no sign of serious weed growth and no smooth at all. The eastern end is still like sailing in black tea. That slowly transitions to white tea muddied water as you head west. Hopefully, there is some nutrient runoff in all of that, that will get things growing.

In any case, unfortunately, neither of us is carrying much fitness, so it was although the spirit was willing, the flesh was weak. Result; a pretty quick session, but defo a Top Ten Fangy splashLaughing

Tabou Rorcket wide 128L, NP RSR E7 7.0m, JP weed 36cm.

Safety bay (well whats left of it).

Decided to go to SB to hopefully get a more consistant breeze than the GAF winds I had been hgearing for the last two days here.

Got there and caught up with Snake who had just packed up and was dreaming of a nice hot toastie from accros the road (hmmmmm Toastie)

First sail this month and it showed so unfit but not unfat. caiught out a few times when the sandy bottom was a bit closer to the air than expected.

First gybe I droped I sppoked something large and grey which went and bumped ito my legs a couple of times and cause an unexpected bowel movement and a squeel like a Banshee, thankfully no damage apart from my nerves.

Was a bit of fun and I'm glad I did the trip.

Another day with just Stroppo and me out. Much better wind that than yesterday managed to get on the water for just over an hour and there was good wind the whole time. Very surprised not to see loads of others out. Maybe they will have turned up later.Really good fun out there today.
