Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU

JP 92 RSS 6.7 (R.I.P.) RSR 5.5 Delta 20

Epic day. On the water by 8am.Sailed for an hour and a half before anyone else arrived. Manage to better my 2 sec PB and then got thrown through my 6.7. Switched to the new 5.5 which was perfect for another hour or so as the wind continued to build.  Soon over-powered and struggled to bear away in the chop for the rest of session. Nobby's had gusts of over 45kts. Surprisingly not too many guys early, Walshy and I had the lake to ourselves for about an hour, but it ended up being a good turnout as the day went on. Was good to meet a few more of the friendly faces. Sure to be some decent numbers and sore arms tonight!

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU - North Warp f2017 7.0m, SB Isonic 80, 20cm MXR sw fin for most of the sail then switched down to 6.3m Warp F2016.  Great sail today. Felt really in sync. Great sailing with everyone!

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU

Big NW, quite gusty, getting jerked around a lot & some nasty falls, the last guaranteeing that my kids will have no more siblings.

Got all excited as the GT31 showed 39.7 knots but it has disappeared on the download. Oh well, felt good for a while.

RS1 5.9 (too big) then CASP44, 5.5, 17  muf

F2 46cm speed board and Maui TR7 5.5m.

Epic day, strong and gusty conditions. Rigged small but it came in just as I stepped into the water.

I tried Johnies weight jacket in the afternoon (Thanks), which felt good, but couldn't go any faster.

Was a windy old day like most of the big 1"s hav been. 5.7 was to much when i 1st went out.

changed foot straps around & went bak out when it droped a bit about 2ish & was heaps better.

sailed out wide were noone else was cause of no delta so happy with the speeds. not flat were i

was sailing, a few spots were if u got the 1st gust after a lull. Weed on fin every run, hmmm time

for somthing else i think. plenty out there hanging on gd to see.

Teralba, NSW, AU

Exocet RS4, TR8 6.6, JP 38 - Wind WNW 5-30 knots

Exocet Cross 94, Mauisails Legend 5.0

Super windy day at Teralba today.   Was tempted to go to Budgie but couldn't pass up these conditions 5 mins from home.   Sailed with Cluffy most of the day, then Ian,Glenn and Geoff came down later.

First proper session on the RS4 since it was repaired and I think its faster than ever now - scored a 2 sec PB for me on Lake Mac!    Rob McCuffy (Macca) on the central coast did a top job.

Really enjoyed myself out there - some crazy chop at times and smoother at others.

Well done to the rest of the team who smashed out some great PBs!

isoic 97, 6.3 vapor

Best sail yet at Budgie

The "Murray" effect kicked in again as I hit the water dropped off 5 -10knts (Bruce can confirm this) but that was nice.

Myall lakes Myall shores caravan park, NSW, AU

Exocet RS2, maui TR11 6.6 , TR8 5.5, V max 33 and 31. Also got the old pederson out.

Sailed straight from my unreal cabin where we will be holding the GPS weekend in November.

First time here but I will be back for sure. Fresh water, no weed, sandy bottom, stand up around most of the lake and runs that just go for ever.

Started with 6.6 and it was 25 to 30 perfect was over 26 hr for 20 min then all I could see was white water comming down the lake at me.picked me up 6 foot high and spat me out like a rag dole. Now blowing 40.

went in had lunch riged down to 5.5 and even it was full on untill in the end it was total white out over 45 knots I was in the water holing my gear from blowing away.

This place gets wind thats for sure.

I was stoked to do over 36 knots in 4 foot swell survival stuff.

The runs are over 3,5 km long and when its not that windy it is unreal.

As I was hooking up my trailer to leave Steve's was right next to mine. I could easily have mistaken it for mine! We could swap. I am sure he would enjoy using my ten year old gear instead of his hot off the plane 2017 Warps. We could really see how good he is then eh!

Thanks, Sue. It was probably at its best around 10AM I reckon. There was stiill long sections of flat water to be had. After that the breeze ticked up another notch to 30-35 and it seemed really choppy to me. It was well beyond my skill level and  I was just about out on my feet by that time anyway.
