2986 days ago Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU chose wrong today shoulda been more conservative, because the wind really kicked in when I hit the water and I shoulda been on a size smaller. Tried putting the mast track forward to keep the nose down and that worked, but the sail was still too full.
Tried to downhaul it which took about 5 minutes of lying in the cold water and when I finally did it by just 1 cm I was getting bloody cold from the water going down the neck of the wetsuit.
Luckily I came in before the shivers got too bad but I sure was cold and shivering by then.
Plenty out today most going real quick on flat water, pity I was unable to do the same. Tough work today.
HSM 6.0 + CA SL 55 + 19 cm Delta.
WNW 20-35 knots.

2986 days ago Fun day out on the pond! I haven't been out for a while so great to see everyone!! I spent most of the day practising my gybes, then had to leave about 2.00pm. Typically thats when the real gusts kicked in and i missed them, but I think my gear was to big for 30 knots plus
